Northeast Iowa Podiatry was started by Dr. William W. Gronen in July of 1973.
Our first location was in the professional building at Covenant Medical Center.
Dr. Terry K. Lichty joined the practice in 1976. An additional office opened in
1980 at the Sartori Professional Building in Cedar Falls, Iowa and also in Grundy
Center, Iowa in 1989.
The Surgical Residency Program began in 1981 through Covenant Medical
Center with Dr. Lichty, director.
In 1998, Dr. Stephen M. Solomon joined
the practice. Dr. Gronen retired from the Waterloo practice in 1998 and started
seeing patients at the New Hampton Clinic. Dr. Lichty retired in August, 2001.
Our Cedar Falls office closed in 2003. Dr. Solomon opened a satellite office in
April 2004 at the Osage Specialty Clinic in Osage, Iowa. He also took over the
New Hampton Clinic when Dr. Gronen retired in May 2006. We moved into our current location in the fall of 2010. In July of 2011 Dr. Kelsey L. Harvey joined the practice and a satellite office was opened in Manchester, Iowa.
